Our client is looking for an Information Security Consultant. The role of Information Security Consultant at is to provide specialist consultancy advice to our business units and IT teams on information system security risks and effective controls. This role is crucial for all business projects and system implementations and you’ll be responsible for ensuring their initiatives are delivered in line with their security architecture, policies, and standards. Key accountabilities:

• Contribute to the strategic initiatives, support business project teams, and act with customers in mind
• Be a trusted advisor and provide security advice based on business goals and security policy and standards
• Be an advocate of good security outcomes and ensure compliance with their security policies and standards
• Undertake risk assessment to identify and document threats to business interests along with cost-effective mitigation controls in line with the governance framework.

The location of the role is in Auckland.
