Our client is looking for a Senior Design Security Consultant. As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key consultancy resource working across internal and customer-facing projects of a large/medium size or high/medium degree of complexity. You will lead technology architecture design across a number of domains providing end-to-end technical leadership and ownership, capability and knowledge for the nominated areas. In addition, you will perform technical analysis and hands-on technical tasks as part of assigned projects.
You will work collaboratively with other members of the Professional Services team as well as other Engineering teams sharing responsibility for all aspects of Solution Design, Development and Support. You will also work with the sales teams promoting Spark services to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Providing expert specialist advice, technical direction and consultancy to clients both internally and externally
- Helping client develop security strategy and roadmap following industry security frameworks
- Writing technical proposals, design documents and statements of work
- Articulate technology solution issues and trade-off’s to impacted key stakeholders in a common business-focused language to enable effective decision making
- Responsible for analysing, designing, scheduling, and constructing solutions which can meet the demands and specifications of the client
- Build and maintain contacts and relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities through pre and post sales activities
- Owning and/or performing QA / peer review sign off for technical proposals, design documents, and statements of work
- Working collaboratively with Domain Principals, Principal Consultants and Consultants to ensure that complete, seamless, and end to end integration of technology solutions occurs within nominated domain and across domains, leveraging re-usable capability where appropriate
- Evaluate current processes and make necessary improvements and changes.
The location of the role is in Wellington.
