Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager. In this role your main task will be to identify high calibre Small-Medium Enterprise businesses that will complement their market driven tradie marketplace. You will lead the development of these opportunities to grow your own portfolio and prepare them for handover to the Account Management channel.
You know you are successful when you are targeting and bringing on board enterprises in particular geographic locations and trade category, meeting and exceeding targets and KPIs.
What you will be doing day-to-day:
- Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s and sales targets
- Comfortable with cold calling and Business Development conversations to introduce our product and services to SME customers across varying categories and geographic regions
- Making a high volume of outbound calls, predominantly prospecting to introduce our product and services
- Explaining the key benefits with potential clients in high demand areas
- Handling customers objections
- Closing the sale and signing up new customers over the phone, via Zoom sessions or face to face.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
