Our client is looking for an Information Technology Manager. The Information Technology Manager is responsible for assessing software, support vendors, and to identify the optimal solution and staffing requirements needed to support the business. The role will also focus on developing a best practice process, documentation of said process, and training programs and workshops for staff and other internal users. Timely system audits must be conducted along with consolidation of all reports, and assistance in use of reports to manage the business and apply them to KPI and other measurement tools.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Overseeing all IT operations including staff and infrastructure
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organizational objectives
- Liaising with other departments, determining and addressing their IT needs and requirements
- Ensuring the maintenance of current projects and technology systems
- Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement
- Proposing strategic solutions and recommending new systems and software
- Preparing financial budgets and performance reports
- Building and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors
- Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Ensure all development, upgrades and system modifications are thoroughly tested before released to users
- Manage backup, security and user help systems
- Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines
- Assign and review the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers or contractors
- Ensure we hold all third-party vendors accountable for meeting all deliverables on a timely basis as defined in each contract
- Stay abreast of advances in technology and share with leadership team on a regular basis
- Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery. Ensure we have redundancy in all systems/data
- Evaluate the organization’s technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades
- Control operational budget and expenditures
- Support organizational goals and values
- Perform other duties as required.
The location of the role is in Fort Worth.
