Our client is looking for an Agile Business Analyst. This role would suit someone with experience as a business analyst, product analyst or other detail focused work preferably in hospitality domain. Ideally you’ve worked with a range of stakeholders and been able to communicate at a technical level, as well as simplifying to non-technical folks. The role involves:
- Translating business requirements into clear, concise, testable and accurate user stories & process flows
- Understanding various partner business landscapes and clearly articulating business needs from a varied group of integration partners
- Ensuring that requirements are understood through story kick offs and constant communication using a variety of analysis and documentation techniques including the application of visualisation techniques to underpin joint understanding of processes and data
- Working closely with Product Manager and SME’s to understand and advise on how the requirements are implemented
- Communicating any requirement dependencies, issues or risks identified through the analysis process
- Contributing to the team’s understanding and prioritisation during planning meetings and retrospectives
- Contributing to showcases, facilitating and participating in team stand-ups, retrospectives & iteration planning sessions
- Participating in estimation sessions by describing the requirements and clarifying any questions raised
- Addressing any requirement questions or issues that arise during the delivery process
- Using your analytical skills to support production issues
- Communicating constantly with key stakeholders, teammates and other people throughout the company and offshore.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
