Our client is looking for an Business Analyst. You will work directly with business and IT stakeholders to define business requirements, map/re-engineer processes, drive technology and business change and work with the project teams to ensure projects under this program of work are delivered successfully
The role:
- Business requirements gathering – Elicit, critique and translate business requirements to clarify their needs & objectives
- Lead the business in improving processes, services and systems through data analysis
- Process mapping/re-engineering
- Support the change activities within a high-profile transformational project
- Evaluate the change and training plans to ensure they align with the business needs
- Work with Business SMEs to ensure that all training activities are planned, documented and executed in accordance with the overall project plan
- Engage and lead business stakeholders on the solution delivery journey
- Facilitate the validation and acceptance of the solution design using end-to-end scenarios
- Support and execute the quality assurance and testing requirements for the solution
- Conduct software testing in close cooperation with IT and business subject matter experts
- Document and track test results and software fixes
- Client support as and when required
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
- Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
- Delivering BA activities within a high pressure, multi-disciplined transformational program
- Demonstrated ability in leading business analysis capability using a variety of technological solutions across the spectrum of business stakeholders
- Solid technical understanding of enterprise systems and how to translate this complexity into digestible information
- Intimate knowledge of the project delivery lifecycle to contribute insight and value to each stage of the delivery effort
- Strong Business requirements gathering skills and writing of functional specifications
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Good business planning, analytical and conceptual skills.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
