Our client is looking for a Business Manager. In this role, you will play a key role in building a category. Building a category is like building your own business. Each category has the potential to become a multi-million dollar business in a few years.
Job requirements:
- Minimum 1-year experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or 2-years’ work experience in a start-up
- You have the entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy figuring out how to solve new and challenging problems
- You start with a zero base – You don’t assume things and solve problems with a first-principles approach
- You care deeply about your work, and maintain a high standard of quality
- You are a go-getter with a can-do attitude and enjoy being hands-on
- You have a strong communication skills and work collaboratively with others
- You get energy from talking to customers and service partners, empathizing with them, and truly understanding their problems
Key responsibilities:
- Define the market strategy for the category
- Define and refine the service offering for customers
- Define and refine the partner-side proposition
- Manage a team of associates who will help deliver your targets
- Optimize sales conversion through the funnel
- Attract and onboard service professionals at scale, continuously refining the ‘onboarding funnel’ to meet growth targets
- Manage the category trainers to continuously improve the quality of service delivered by service partners.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
