Our client is looking for a Communications Director. The Communications Director is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day communications business unit. This person ensures that all employees are armed with the information and knowledge they need to do their jobs effectively. This includes managing the business unit’s intranet site, newsletters, announcements, and R&A-wide messaging channels, as well as advising stakeholders in various departments on how to communicate effectively to their groups. Responsibilities:
· Create, copy-edit and disseminate communications that inform and engage associates, both independently and in partnership with department heads and key stakeholders throughout the business
· Manage strategy, updates and ongoing maintenance of proactive communication platforms, including their intranet and Microsoft Teams
· Manage the editorial calendar and associated processes to ensure the right messages get to the right audience(s) at the right time, and avoid duplicate or conflicting guidance
· Define, implement and improve communications standards (timelines and cadence, templates, style guide, structure, tone, call to action, etc.); guide and advise stakeholders throughout on how to apply the standards consistently in their communications
· Advise and support teams on communications plans for change programs such as the rollout of new policies and processes; provide project and initiative owners with guidance to help minimize change-related disruption to business operations
· As needed, support department heads and the executive communications leader in building agendas and messages and preparing guest speakers for informational and engagement-oriented events
· Measure impact of communications and change programs, analyzing metrics on message penetration to inform and drive ongoing improvement opportunities
· Collaborate with Corporate Communications team members to effectively engage associates in accordance with a global associate editorial calendar.
The location of the role is in Fort Worth.
