Our client is looking for a Data Governance Specialist. The purpose of this key role is to develop and operate the underlying processes and standards required for the Data Governance function, and where relevant specific domain requirements. This includes Master and Reference Data, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, and Critical Data Elements.
- Much of this will involve working very closely with their Data Central colleagues, Data Governance Council and Steering Group members, and key stakeholders across the business
- Provide general Data Governance support
- Work with Initiative Owners to ensure they are adhering to the Data Governance Principles and following processes and standards
- Develop Data Governance related standards, procedures and guidelines to support application of the Data Governance Principles
- Ensure that all processes, procedures, issues and outcomes relating to CDEs, Master and Reference data, and Business Glossary and Data Lineage, are appropriately documented and controlled
- Develop strategy for future roadmap.
The location of the role is in Auckland.
