Our client is looking for a Desktop Engineer. You’ll be involved in a variety of work and internal projects at different levels including troubleshooting, PC/Laptop setups and other role outs. You need a truly flexible attitude and we are looking for someone to hit the ground running in this role so if you have experience.  

Our ideal candidate will have: 

• Experience in IT troubleshooting, planning and resolving desktop and basic server issues
• Have a broad IT knowledge and 1-3 years’ experience 
• The skills to talk confidently to the client
• A can-do attitude and someone who is keen and eager to learn about technology
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal 
• Team player who is willing to help others
• Organised and good self-management skills
• IT qualification and in Microsoft systems

Our ideal candidate will also have: 

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Level 1/2 IT Desktop/Service Engineer 

Applicants for this position must have a Full New Zealand Driver’s License and NZ Citizenship, residency or a valid NZ work visa. 

The location of the role is in Napier.
