Our client is looking for a Head of IT Services. Reporting to the CTO, the Head of IT Services is responsible for providing the business with reliable end to end network infrastructure, services and solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring that technological infrastructure is fit for purpose, consistently stable, and scalable, to provide the bank with a platform that supports a leading digital experience for our customers and overall positive workplace experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the end-to-end customer experience of Hume’s core banking and non-core business aligned applications
- Develop strong partnerships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including Third-Party service providers and manage service delivery in accordance with service level agreements
- Manage and monitor the utilisation, capacity and performance of all networks and associated core communications and networking infrastructure
- Deliver an efficient and well-managed system administration and security function that supports staff and customers, ensuring that IT service staff respond to queries and requests, and are resolving issues effectively and escalating issues as required
- Work collaboratively across the business to ensure new projects and technology initiatives are effectively transitioned from Project Delivery to operations in alignment with required standards, timeframes, and budget
- Manage the day-to-day execution of cyber security program of works and services and oversee IT security function and facilitate engagement with management in embedding security in decision making across the business
- Continually maintain and evolve technical specifications, standards and documentation of network hardware, software, security, monitoring, backup, resilience and DR of network assets
- Analyse and continuously improve Hume’s technical capabilities and identify opportunities for improved efficiency though technology
- Effectively lead the IT Services team by providing coaching and mentoring to develop team capability.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
