Our client is looking for an IT Administrator to provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to staff across APAC and Australia region and be the IT contact for the responsible region. Interface with IT team in head office and APAC. Key responsibilities:
- Managing mobile telecommunications devices
- Ensuring appropriate setup for all IT equipment in their offices and remote work environments including internet connection, software and hardware
- Support and administration of IT hardware in the customer area. These include servers, PC / laptop, mobile telecommunications devices, videoconferencing equipment, printers and other peripherals
- New account setup and IT onboarding/offboarding of team members
- Advising on appropriate hardware and software to support the business
- Procurement of IT equipment for Australian and APAC as required
- Configuring firewall, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security concerning network performance
- Ensuring appropriate backup and security systems are in place to support the business goals
- IT support for software and hardware
- Dispatching and tracking of incidents and service requests
- Processing of incoming service requests and incidents
- Communication with internal end customers and external service providers
- Coordination of external service providers
- Exchange of information about disruptive processing within IT
- Support of other teams in the execution of administrative tasks as well as IT projects
- Acquisition of new tasks from the Technical Back Office
- Creation of documentation for IT processes
- Manage and track local IT inventory and assets in Australia and APAC region.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
