Our client is looking for an IT Application Support Specialist. The IT Application Support Specialist role is a critical support role, reporting to the Operations Manager. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide 1st and 2nd Level functional and technical application support to customers
- Trouble-shooting and resolving user application and database issues
- Accurate and timely maintenance of service tickets within the ITSM system
- Business analysis, eliciting requirements and documenting business processes
- Application implementation, test and commissioning activities
- Software testing and release management
- Apply governance processes and standards in relation to all work performed to resolve incidents, manage problems and implement changes
- Develop documentation, training materials and guides to support the use of technology
- Provide training and advice in key application functionality to customers
- Champion IT application support process improvements.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
