Our client is looking for an IT Manager. Reporting directly to the Group CFO as part of the innovative Business Services Team, you will lead the IT organisation of half a dozen people covering both the IT infrastructure team and Service Desk. As an ambitious and value driven Not for Profit organisation their time and resources are precious. They may be large but they favour an entrepreneurial mindset and we look to their IT Manager to embrace this – stretching our investments further and innovating to deliver more with less. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring a high functioning lean and dynamic IT team through effective leadership, strategic vision and the implementation of appropriate process disciplines and controls
- Full responsibility to execute on IT operations – Overseeing the development, configuration, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all new and existing hardware and communication links as we transform our network towards Azure, edge computing and endpoint management
- Getting the best out of their vendors and implementation/support partners – Vendor Management of the outsourced components of the wide area network, telephony, data centre, security systems and other technology infrastructure
- Active engagement with the business to get IT right – Collaboration with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure all business requirements make sense and are being met
- Continuous improvement of the service desk based on business informed prioritisation – all service support desk requests are resolved in a timely manner and to established KPIs
- Fostering an environment of performance-based continuous improvement, leading through innovation and creative problem solving
- Responsibility for the development of the infrastructure and related operational and capital budgets, and delivery of required outcomes within the agreed budget.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
