Our client is looking for an IT Operations Manager. You will provide support to the organization’s internal users of computer applications and hardware. Answer questions regarding system procedures, systems status and downtime procedures, and is typically located within a distribution center; collaborates with network services, software systems engineering, vendors, and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems; managers incident response and request SLAs to ensure a timely resolution; ensure compliance with all organizational policies to reduce exposure to the organization. What you bring to the role:
- Manages onsite and remote experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments
- Hire, train, and develop a team of IT professionals
- Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
- Problems faced may be difficult to moderately complex
- Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures
- Interact with management and staff to provide technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions
- Plan, organize, schedule, and supervise the day-to-day technical support activities, including troubleshooting, customer service issues, approvals, and installations
- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
- Regularly applies expertise in day-to-day activities
- Measure, monitor, and maintain team’s ability to meet or exceed contact and resolution Service Level Agreements
- Ensure alignment with all system security compliance to reduce organizational risk
- Oversee management of equipment and parts inventory
- Ability to make significant contributions to the organization
- Requires a four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 10 years functional experience including a minimum of 5-7 years of position specific experience and 5-7 years of supervisory experience or 4 years of leadership experience.
The location of the role is in Fort Worth.
