Our client is looking for an IT Manager. The IT Project Manager is responsible for coordinating multiple projects and schedules. Projects will range from small changes to our systems or processes to large system implementations that require planning, budgeting and training to be rolled out to the entire organization. This role will require a person who is self-motivated, can overcome obstacles to complete projects and can understand the needs of the business in order to assist in selecting, implementing and managing effective software/IT solutions. Duties and responsibilities:
- Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
- Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments, IT Team, and consultants
- Verifies implementation results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench marking state of the art practices; participating in professional societies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Identifies and Implements processes and practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Designs reports and provides analytics
- Creates instructions/protocols for nontechnical staff to use on new systems if none are provided by a SAAS vendor or additional instructions are required
- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures.
The location of the role is in Fort Worth.
