Our client is looking for an IT Specialist. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and project management for both CONUS and OCONUS IT environments
  • Conducts feasibility studies of possible hardware/software additions, upgrades and/or modifications to meet future requirements
  • Develops formal written network plans and designs and identifies technical hardware/ software PC and PC peripheral configuration interface requirements with host computer facility and end-user systems
  • Serves as Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative in the receipt and acceptance of new equipment/software and in the administration of IT contracts, to include monitoring the performance of contractors
  • Authorizing payments to contractors, and ensuring that renewals and modifications are issued, as required for on-going service to maintenance service contracts
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of plans identifying software and hardware configuration requirements to support end-user computing and automated information systems, including office automation
  • Maintains, deploys and operates Satellite Communications terminals
  • Maintains high level of deployment readiness.

The location of the role is in Fort Worth.
