Our client is looking for an IT Support Engineer who will bring significant demonstrated IT knowledge to complement the skills of the existing team. This is a diverse role delivering a wide range of IT services to businesses in Australia. This role will suit an IT professional who enjoys working with different clients, delivering excellent customer service, working through challenges and achieving the best results. This role will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for:
- Providing remote, in-house or on-site technical support for clients in-line with agreed service levels
- Communicating with clients effectively via telephone, face-to-face and email
- Managing and maintaining client relationship
- Applying technical knowledge in diagnosing and resolving IT issues in a timely manner, ensuring an ideal outcome
- Liaising and collaborating with members of your team and external expert advice sources, to ensure that client issues are managed through to resolution
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement and experience of the clients’ environment by reporting any diagnosed, recommended or required changes and upgrades to management
- Collaborating and working with the Sales Team to develop client solutions
- Using ConnectWise (the enterprise resource planning software), keeping complete and timely records of all time spent, advice provided, relevant actions taken, and work done for each client
- Providing outside hours support as required (from time to time)
- Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients through accurate, calm and supportive communication
- Actively seeking and developing industry knowledge and when requested by management, participate in upgrading of skills to support business outcomes.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
