Our client is looking for an IT Support Officer who will be responsible for the effective planning, provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, support and maintenance of all ICT systems used. You will be responsible for gaining a clear understanding of end user issues and providing solutions. You will ensure the right tools and permissions are in place to support a range of employees in effectively to ensure utilisation of our ICT systems.
Critical to your success in this role is strong attention to detail, an ability to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately, excellent communication and customer service skills and an ability to recognise when assistance is required to efficiently and effectively complete a task. Reporting to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring seamless operation of all ICT systems and activities
- Be responsible for designing, organising, delivering, modifying, and supporting ICT systems including essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools and servers
- Effectively plan, provision, install, configure, maintain and support all ICT systems used within JHTA & Johnson Health Tech Head Quarters based in Taiwan
- User administration (setup, maintaining accounts and devices)
- Setup and maintain networks
- Maintaining building security (alarm systems/camera systems)
- Maintaining Systems (Windows Servers, VMWare, MYOB Exonet, WMS, Printers, Scanners, VOIP Phone system, O365, Wireless network, UPSs, switches etc
- Maintain and repair hardware where required
- Create and Manage server backups software solutions (onsite & offsite)
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests / provide all levels of technical support for both hardware and software issues
- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security
- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, anti-virus software and other processes
- SQL Reporting, Excel and PowerBI.
- Ensure design of system allows all components to work together properly
- Provide maintenance and support of desktop and server operating systems and applications
- Planning for and responding to service outages
- Advising and leading IT projects/upgrades and security
- IT service desk and Asset Management – Manage Engine Desktop Central
- Provide an excellent level of customer service with timely, appropriate support responses and positive, friendly communication
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors and service providers.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
