Our client is looking for a Project Manager. You will enjoy working in teams, as well as having responsibility for delivery of your part of a project. You will be a relationship builder, with the ability to collaborate with others on projects, including external stakeholders, clients, contractors, iwi and community groups.
You will have previous experience working in a consulting environment either as a Project Manager, Engineer or in a technical role, and are now looking to move into a delivery role. You may have run projects of different scope and scale previously and be ready to make that next step in the complexity and scale of projects you work on. You will also be ready for increased responsibilities across the commercial outcomes of a project, with the desire to learn about local and central government funding of large infrastructure and buildings projects, and strategic regional planning.
You will know how to build credible relationships across designers, client, contractors and iwi partners. You will also be passionate about learning from others, ready to listen, engage, support and positively query situations with a focus on great client outcomes. We also like to have fun along the way, so a good sense of humour will hold you in good stead. This position will provide you with wide exposure and create opportunities for career and professional development across the Beca business, both locally and across Australasia.
The location of the role is in Christchurch.
