Our client is looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst. This is a busy role so you’ll need to be proactive, use your initiative and get stuck in to support the team. A proven achiever in commercial or financial analysis from within a large corporate organisation, you’ll be someone who can use their business acumen to think outside the square and achieve results. When working under pressure, a mature, calm approach coupled with experience in project work will stand you in good stead.
Working on performance reporting, your strong attention to detail will enable you to provide additional insight where required by analysing financial and non-financial information to ensure the business is operating effectively. With your solid experience within a large corporate environment you’ll also be able to work cross functionally, helping people evaluate initiatives and providing business case support as needed.
Other key skills and experience include:
- Advanced MS Excel skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Power BI a plus!)
- Experience within a large ERP – we use SAP and Business Warehouse
- Robust experience in an analytical capacity – ability to understand and build complex business models and integrate data from a range of sources, with sound problem solving skills and an ability to manage ambiguity
- Confidence to present insights to a large audience
- Ability to communicate complex insights in an easy-to-understand manner.
The location of the role is in Hamilton.
