Our client is looking for a Software Engineer who will support their product and leadership teams with insights gained from analyzing asset, security, and release’s historical data. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline (math, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, engineering or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience working as a data scientist
- Experience cleaning and manipulating datasets
- Experience in programming and creating machine learning models
- Experience developing statistics-based solutions
- Has experience with major machine learning algorithms. Fluency in Python
- Experience using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and developing bot solutions
- Passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes
- Database querying and data mining skills in SQL, Python, R
- Experience in Descriptive and prescriptive analytics
- Experience in developing analytical data sets in Azure or internal Big Data Environments which can be used to for analytics and data science
- Build data persistence solutions for software products, with the chance to work with and learn multiple data stores (including Redis, SQL Server, cosmos DB, azure blob) as well as event streaming platforms
- Use a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, a variety of data tools, building, and implement models and create algorithms
- Develop deep insights into product performance
- Analyze business problems and create innovative data solutions
- Create machine-learned models or algorithms to solve business problems
- Deploy machine-learned models to production and monitor them over time
- Process and clean large datasets into a format suitable for machine learning
- Perform predictive and prescriptive analysis on complex business problems
- Maintain a readable and reusable code base.
The location of the role is in Fort Worth.
