Our client is looking for a Tech Area Lead. This opportunity will suit a seasoned technology leader who has a proven track record leading both culture and technology platform transformation at enterprise scale. The landscape is broad and diverse; multi-geography, and multi-platform. This role is two part; one aspect delivery of the high levels of technology platform services their customers and staff rely upon, and the other part focused on leading transformational change within the organisation’s Technology Platforms team. In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Deliver platform services within agreed budget
- Ensure infrastructure assets are lifecycle managed with investment planned to minimise business risk
- Develop and deliver platform optimisation opportunities to minimise costs
- Lead the definition, development, implementation and provision of platform services and facilitate the customer consumption of these services
- Facilitate the provision of technology’s platform services in line with customer expectations and agreed service levels
- Facilitate the research and development of new platform services in line with their IT Strategy and technology developments in the marketplace
- Develop platform services which are matched to business needs, and transparently reflect service performance and cost attributes
- Contribute to the leadership of Technology and the development of a diverse talent pool
- Develop and drive a customer focused environment consistent with their long term objectives, vision and values
- Attract talent and build their technology brand in the market
- Leverage their technology operating model and manage and influence the outcomes that other areas are delivering
- Ensure all services delivered comply with their IT strategy, policies, processes and standards and with external regulatory requirements.
The location of the role is in Wellington or Auckland.
