Our client is looking for a Technical Lead. In this role, you’ll iterate quickly with a small but high-energy team to help design and develop a scalable SaaS solution. You’ll manage the engineering team, set the technological vision, and execute this vision in a way that is secure, scalable, and effective. You will also own key decisions on what frameworks and infrastructure to use and will mentor and empower the developers on your team. Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Passion for customer-focused, early-stage product development. Previous experience in a start-up environment is a plus but not required
- 3-5+ years of full-stack experience building productive, scalable, and secure web applications
- Interest in managing and inspiring teams; previous management experience is a plus but not required
- Experience building cloud-native applications
- Expertise with front-end languages and frameworks like Angular or React, and strong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and tooling
- Strong understanding of scalable architecture and service-oriented / microservice concepts
- Back-end skills using Java, Python, or Golang. DevOps experience a big plus
- Sense for quality assurance as part of development, including designing and implementing integration and functional tests as part of the development process
- Effective communication skills, focusing on the presentation of technical information
- Ability to collaborate effectively but operate autonomously. You will be in the driver’s seat of your work and must be willing and able to run with a high degree of independence
- Work closely with our data science team to operationalize machine learning models and intelligence within our product
- Willingness to be hands-on from the start and learn as you go.
The location of the role is in Fort Worth.
